A Day in the Life The Jerusalem Manufacturing Engineering function supports reliable, compliant, and efficient production of medical devices. The team partners with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other engineering functions to sustain manufacturing processes, introduce equipment, expand capacity, and drive continuous improvement. This position follows a hybrid work model, with onsite presence required to support manufacturing activities. The Manufacturing Engineer will provide hands-on engineering support for production processes and equipment. The role monitors process performance, leads equipment and capacity projects, investigates manufacturing failures, prepares and maintains engineering documentation, and ensures that processes comply with applicable medical-device manufacturing requirements. The successful candidate will help improve process stability, productivity, quality, and manufacturing readiness through data-driven problem solving and effective cross-functional collaboration. Primary Responsibilities: • Monitor manufacturing processes using statistical process control and develop effective process-monitoring techniques • Lead small to medium projects for the selection, installation, qualification, and implementation of new manufacturing equipment • Investigate process and equipment failures using structured root-cause analysis and support nonconformance, corrective action, and preventive action activities • Create and maintain engineering change orders, work instructions, equipment files, validation protocols, and validation reports • Manage manufacturing equipment and capacity requirements in accordance with production demand. Ensure manufacturing processes and procedures comply with applicable regulations and quality-system requirements for medical devices • Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to resolve production issues and implement sustainable improvements • Prioritize engineering deliverables based on business needs, project criticality, product quality, and production continuity. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, Biomedical Engineering, or an equivalent engineering discipline • Minimum of 3 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience • Experience managing small to medium engineering projects • Practical familiarity with manufacturing technologies, production methods, and engineering documentation • Professional proficiency in written and spoken Hebrew and English. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Six Sigma methods and structured root-cause analysis • Experience in the medical-device industry or another regulated manufacturing environment • Experience with process and equipment qualification or validation • Experience using SOLIDWORKS.
