As Technical Director (m/f/d) – Renewable Energy, for our office in Frankfurt am Main or Madrid, you will be responsible for: • Providing technical leadership across wind, solar PV, and battery storage projects. • Assessing and optimizing the performance and reliability of our assets. • Supporting investment and M&A activities with deep technical due diligence. • Advising on asset development, engineering, and operational strategies . • Managing relationships with OEMs, technical advisors, and service providers . • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and technical best practices . • Being an integral part of and sharing knowledge with the Investment, Commercial, and Asset management teams • Potentially the team leader function, depending on the development within the organization As an employer, we offer: • A passionate, collaborative, and international team with flat hierarchies characterized by a strong drive for excellence • An entrepreneurial and fast-paced work environment that fosters continuous professional and personal development • The opportunity to have a significant impact and play an integral role in the further build-out of a rapidly growing and highly ambitious company at the forefront of the energy transition backed by a leading private equity and infrastructure investor • An unlimited contract with 30 days off • A office with modern equipment and flexible working hours For this role, ideally, you bring: • 5+ years of technical experience in the renewable energy sector. • Background as a commercially driven engineer with deep expertise in wind, solar PV, and ideally battery storage. • Previous experience at a leading technical advisory firm or renewable energy OEM . • Strong understanding of technical due diligence in M&A transactions . • Hands-on, self-starter mentality with a problem-solving mindset. • Team player with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English • German, Spanish, Italian or Polish skills would be a strong plus Our job profile lists a variety of skills and competencies that are relevant for this position.
