About the role
Company Overview Metrea delivers effects-as-a-service to national security partners across five domains and more than a dozen mission areas. These include airborne ISR, electronic warfare, secure communications, aerial refueling, special air missions, aerial firefighting, and advanced simulation. We own the whole stack: designing, building, and operating turnkey capabilities that give our partners decisive, asymmetric advantage against rapidly evolving threats. Our operating model is built around three interlocking pillars. The Support Groups provide a global shared-service – spanning people, finance, platform, operations, legal, and engagement. This frees up our Core Groups, who develop and own mission capabilities end-to-end, to focus entirely on delivery. The Market Groups apply a regional lens, ensuring that our agile and adaptable capabilities remain aligned to the wicked problems that matter most to our partners across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific. At the heart of our model is a simple but powerful idea: be a true partner with skin in the game. Our partners need effects, not just equipment. By owning the full stack – from the lab to the field – we are able to drive a continuous cycle of innovation that keeps our partners ahead. It's a fast-moving, intellectually demanding environment where talented people are given real responsibility, work on problems that matter, and contribute to an enterprise that is growing quickly and deliberately. Headquartered in Washington, DC, with facilities across the United States, the United Kingdom, as well as Continental Europe and Asia-Pacific. Position Summary The Campaign Lead is a senior role within the Market Development Capability Area, responsible for owning and driving complex customer opportunities from early shaping through to contract award. You will develop and lead the campaign strategy, bringing together expertise from across Metrea to understand customer requirements, develop differentiated solutions and position the business to win. The primary focus will be on campaigns in manned airborne ISR, Air Transport and Aerial Fire Fighting, with the potential to integrate Metrea’s Electromagnetic & Cyber and Digital & Synthetic capabilities into solutions. You will have a deep understanding of Air domain effects, sensors and capabilities, the missions they are employed within and the markets and customers that require them. Based from our London office with hybrid working, you will be responsible for developing and delivering winning campaigns from early shaping and campaign planning through bid submission, contract award and transition to delivery, supporting national security customers including the UK Ministry of Defence, NATO and allied partners. You will work closely with Market Development leads and teams across Metrea, bringing together the operational, technical, commercial and delivery expertise required to develop and execute successful campaign strategies across the EMEA region. Working closely with the Bids & Proposals team, you will provide strategic and content leadership for complex bids and proposals. You will develop the win strategy, value proposition and key messages, translate technical and operational inputs into compelling customer-focused content and ensure the campaign strategy is consistently reflected through the proposal. You will be trained in the Metrea Solution Framework and, after contract award, will work with Programme Leads to ensure the customer need is delivered and to identify opportunities to grow our services.
