About the Role We are looking for a skilled and personable Forward Deployed Engineer to build strong client relationships in order to build, configure and deliver technical solutions to meet individual client needs. The role combines programming expertise with a deep understanding of the insurance/insurtech space, comprising engineering, sales, and client success. Key Responsibilities • Analysing prospective partners’ (pilot projects) and clients’ business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using our domain-specific spreadsheet-like functional programming language called Brossa. • Codifying, configuring and delivering formal specifications of insurance products in various lines of business (marine, aviation, political violence, etc). • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design technical solutions that align with the strategic goals of the client, and customising and configuring our technology to achieve this. • Develop a deep understanding of our suite of products to provide strategic guidance and recommendations. • Demonstrate product value to key internal and client stakeholders. • Build and manage platform integrations while providing ongoing technical support.
