About the role
Responsibilities • Own the roadmap, prioritization and delivery of Talos’s connectivity capabilities, balancing new integrations, client requirements and improvements to existing connections. • Expand connectivity into new and emerging markets, including prediction markets and tokenized assets, adapting Talos’s trading capabilities to different market structures and protocols. • Drive multiple integration projects end to end, from technical assessment through development, certification and production rollout, coordinating teams, dependencies, timelines and risks to ensure successful delivery. • Work closely with Engineering to define and enhance connectivity capabilities across order entry, market data, FIX/REST/WebSocket APIs, security master, rate limits, resiliency and performance. • Ensure connectivity supports Talos trading workflows, including liquidity aggregation, smart order routing, algorithms and other EMS capabilities. • Build strong technical relationships with exchanges, liquidity providers and other external partners to deliver new capabilities and resolve production issues. Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in electronic trading, capital markets technology or institutional digital assets, ideally in product management, trading technology or connectivity. • Understanding of EMS/OEMS workflows, order lifecycle, market data and multi-venue trading. • Demonstrated ability to organize and drive multiple complex technical projects concurrently, with strong attention to detail, follow-through and ownership. • Experience with exchange, broker, dealer or liquidity-provider connectivity. • Working knowledge of FIX and API-based trading protocols, including REST and WebSocket. • Technical aptitude and comfort working with API documentation, logs, JSON messages and production data. • Good understanding of trading concepts such as order type, liquidity aggregation, smart order routing, rate limits and execution algorithms. • Comfortable using SQL for investigation and analysis; scripting experience such as Python is a plus. • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with Engineering, clients and external technical partners. Preferred • Digital asset experience is beneficial but not required; strong electronic trading experience in FX, equities, futures or other asset classes is highly relevant.
