About the role
Key Account Manager – New Business (m/w/d) | Retail & Brand Signage Full-time (40 hours per week), Hybrid (Berlin, Germany) About Us At The Global Talent Co., we provide opportunities to work with leading innovative technology companies worldwide, offering stable employment, competitive compensation, career growth, and access to a community of 25,000+ like-minded marketing professionals. About the Company You’ll be joining a Berlin-headquartered company that has spent over a decade becoming one of Europe’s go-to partners for premium custom signage. Its work appears in flagship stores, showrooms, hotels and offices for well-known brands in retail, luxury, automotive, hospitality and tech. Clients come back for repeat orders and multi-location rollouts, and the team is now building a dedicated new business function to match that reputation. The Role As Key Account Manager – New Business, you’ll open doors with enterprise brands across Germany and Europe and turn first conversations into signed signage projects. This is a hunter role: no inherited book. Once a client signs, an experienced internal team handles all delivery, so your time goes into pipeline, new accounts and growing relationships. You’ll work directly with the founder-led leadership team and have real autonomy over your approach. You probably work at a brand experience or shopper marketing agency, a POS or visual merchandising supplier, a Ladenbau or Messebau company, an event agency, or a large-format print house today. You enjoy getting in front of brand and retail marketing decision-makers and want a product that sells itself once you’re in the room. Key Responsibilities • Identify and win new enterprise brand accounts, from first outreach to signed contract • Build relationships with Heads of Brand, Retail Marketing, Visual Merchandising and senior marketing leaders • Navigate buying processes involving marketing, retail operations and procurement • Scope signage projects with clients and brief the internal team clearly from day one • Lead pricing negotiations and shape deal structures that protect margin • Grow accounts through repeat orders, upsell and multi-location rollouts • Keep your pipeline clean and up to date in the CRM • Represent the company at selected trade fairs and events such as EuroShop Ideal Candidate • 2+ years in new business, key account or sales roles, selling to senior decision-makers on high-value deals • Native-level German and professional English; based in or able to work hybrid from Berlin • A genuine hunter: you build pipeline from scratch and are driven by ambitious goals • A track record of opening doors and building a network among brand, marketing or retail contacts • Structured pipeline management and CRM discipline that keeps complex deals moving • Commercial acumen: you think in margins, pricing and deal structures, not just revenue • You listen first and understand what really matters to a client before you pitch • Mature, confident and energising to work with Nice to Have • A background in brand experience, retail or shopper marketing agencies, POS and visual merchandising, Ladenbau, Messebau, event agencies with retail or gastro clients, or large-format production • Hands-on experience with tenders, RFPs and framework agreements • An existing network among brand, retail marketing or visual merchandising leaders in DACH • Experience using trade fairs as a lead generation channel At The Global Talent Co., our mission is to bridge the gap between leading global tech companies and amazing global talent. We believe everyone deserves equal access to opportunities, regardless of the country they happen to be born in. Find more English Speaking Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow
