US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Universities and non-profit research employers are cap-exempt. The $100,000 fee for new petitions from abroad is currently blocked by a court order (appeal pending).

In this role, you will design, optimize, and deliver end-to-end solutions that span the entire product lifecycle - from initial product design and engineering, through production planning and manufacturing execution, to quality management and supply chain integration. We are looking for an experienced consultant professional with a solid background in classic SAP areas who is eager to shape the future of manufacturing. No advanced technical cloud experience yet? No problem! We value your deep functional and process-oriented expertise. If you have the drive to learn, we provide comprehensive internal training to help you master SAP BTP, SAP Business AI, and emerging technologies like Agentic AI. Our goal is to support your professional growth as we work together within the RISE with SAP framework and modern Clean Core extensibility strategies. Key Responsibilities • Functional & Technical Consulting: Analyze business requirements across the Design to Manufacture (D2M) lifecycle. Translate business needs into standard SAP solutions and identify areas where modern technologies can bring added value. • Process Blueprinting & Customizing: Lead discovery workshops, prepare business blueprints, and perform system configuration (customizing) in your core SAP module(s). • End-to-End Implementation: Design and execute system integration tests, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), support data migration activities, and provide hypercare and post-go-live support. • Collaboration & Alignment: Work closely with international business stakeholders, key users, and cloud developers to align process designs with standard-aligned architectures. • Continuous Innovation: Actively participate in proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives. Gradually learn and support the design of AI/GenAI use cases, side-by-side extensions, and intelligent workflows to automate manufacturing and quality processes. Qualifications & Experience Requirements (Must Have) Strong functional or techno-functional experience (3+ years) in SAP implementations, with a solid focus on at least one of the following core areas within the Design to Manufacture (D2M) lifecycle: • Product Design & Engineering (e.g., SAP PLM, Portfolio & Project Management). • Manufacturing Planning & Execution (e.g., SAP PP, PP-DS, Digital Manufacturing / DM). • Quality & Logistics (e.g., SAP QM, EWM, or Asset Management). Process Knowledge: Deep understanding of real-world manufacturing, product design, or supply chain business processes. AI Readiness & Curiosity: Basic understanding or practical curiosity regarding AI concepts (e.g., experience using or playing with Large Language Models, Generative AI, or prompt engineering) and a strong willingness to learn how to apply them to enterprise business scenarios. Language Skills: Fluent English (written and spoken) is required. Mindset: Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills; comfort working in international, agile project environments. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have / Opportunity to Learn) • Practical experience with or technical knowledge of SAP BTP • Hands-on exposure to SAP Business AI, SAP Generative AI Hub, or Agentic AI concepts. • Familiarity with the RISE with SAP model and cloud-ready Clean Core extensibility strategies. • German language skills (highly welcome and considered a strong asset). Bosch’s culture of innovation and digital transformation offers you a fantastic platform to grow your skills and enhance your network. We are dedicated to building a warm, open, transparent, and inclusive work environment for all.
