ZoomInfo is where careers accelerate. We move fast, think boldly, and empower you to do the best work of your life. You’ll be surrounded by teammates who care deeply, challenge each other, and celebrate wins. With tools that amplify your impact and a culture that backs your ambition, you won’t just contribute. You’ll make things happen–fast. What You'll do: • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable services and APIs (REST and GraphQL) behind our intent and search features. • Evolve our existing intent and search features and build new ones that shape where the product goes next. • Build and improve the Angular and React interfaces customers use to search, filter, and act on intent data. • Build production-ready systems with a focus on performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability. • Own features and projects end-to-end across the stack, from technical design and implementation through deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvements. • Work with distributed systems and event-driven architectures using Kafka and Pub/Sub, including messaging and asynchronous data flows. • Design and implement APIs and services that integrate with other internal and external systems. • Work with large and complex data flows in MongoDB and BigQuery, and understand how data moves through backend systems. • Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and improve services running in production on GKE and Cloud Run. • Participate in system design and architecture discussions and help make sound technical decisions. • Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and other engineering teams to deliver complete solutions. • Investigate complex production issues and identify root causes rather than only addressing symptoms. • Improve existing systems and proactively identify opportunities to increase reliability, performance, and engineering efficiency. • Use AI coding tools as part of your everyday workflow to write, review, test, and debug code faster. • Provide technical guidance to other engineers and contribute to engineering best practices. What you bring: • 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering and building production systems, with most of that on the backend. • Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript, or a similar backend technology. • Experience building modern web UIs with Angular and/or React. • Deep understanding of backend development principles, APIs, services, databases, and distributed systems. • Hands-on experience building and operating production applications, including debugging and troubleshooting real-world issues. • Experience with event-driven systems and messaging technologies, particularly Kafka. • Experience designing and working with both REST and GraphQL APIs. • Experience with cloud infrastructure and services; GCP experience is preferred. • Strong understanding of scalability, performance, reliability, observability, and system design. • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of complex projects and drive them from design through production. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to investigate complex technical issues independently. • Strong communication skills and ability to make and explain technical decisions. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with NestJS. • Strong experience with GCP and cloud-native services such as Pub/Sub, BigQuery, GKE, and Cloud Run. • Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases. • Experience with search systems: indexing, ranking, relevance tuning, or query performance. • Experience with ML-driven or AI-powered features, such as signal scoring, embeddings, or semantic search. • Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications. • Experience with CI/CD and production deployment pipelines. • Ex
