About the role

About the Role We are building something new. APAC is a strategic and rapidly growing region for PubMatic, with expansion across multiple products and markets. That growth requires consistent, strategic execution and close partnership between marketing and commercial leadership. We need a manager who can own marketing execution across India and Australia, working as a true business partner to regional commercial leadership. You'll be responsible for translating commercial priorities into high-impact events, campaigns, and integrated programmes. Your work will drive awareness with key audiences (publishers, advertisers, industry players), deepen relationships, and support pipeline creation. This is not a calendar-management role. It's a portfolio management role grounded in business outcomes. Reporting to the Marketing Director, APAC, you'll operate across two complementary dimensions: executing India and Australia market strategies and managing integrated programmes that span the region. You'll need to understand what drives success in each market, who the priority audiences are, and create events and campaigns that resonate with them and move the needle commercially. What You'll Do: India & Australia Markets (80% of focus) • Execute integrated marketing strategies for India and Australia aligned to commercial priorities in each market • Plan and execute events across both markets: conferences, customer dinners, industry forums, webinars, sponsorships • Understand what resonates in each market: who the key audiences are, what they care about, what will move them to engage • Manage the full calendar across two geographies simultaneously, maintaining timelines, budgets, vendor relationships, and delivery quality • Project manage the development and launch of go-to-market content for each market thought leadership pieces, executive narratives, customer stories, contributed articles • Build and maintain strategic relationships with industry players, publishers, venues, and agencies in each market • Measure and report on programme effectiveness: attendance, engagement, lead quality, pipeline influence, ROI, and recommendations for optimization • Expect 3–4 trips per year for major events and market visits (India and Australia). Regional Integrated Programmes (20% of focus) • Project manage marketing initiatives across APAC that sit outside individual markets such as regional events • Coordinate delivery of thought leadership and content programmes that can be leveraged and adapted across the region • Work with Global team on additional projects as needed • Track and report on programme performance We'd Love for You to Have: • 5–8 years of B2B marketing experience ideally within digital advertising, programmatic, AdTech, media sales, agency partnerships, DSP, SSP, or advertiser-facing platform roles. • A proven ability to manage multiple campaigns, events, and programmes simultaneously. • Demonstrated success in event and campaign planning and execution across strategy, logistics, and measurement. • Exceptional project management discipline. You manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables rigorously. You anticipate problems and solve them early. • Strong attention to detail. Quality matters in everything: event invitations, vendor contracts, reporting. Inconsistencies and errors get caught before they go out. • Hands-on proficiency with project management tools (Asana, Monday, or similar), marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Sizmek (?), event management software (Splash or similar), and design tools (Canva). • Proven experience managing events end-to-end: from strategy and audience definition, through venue selection and vendor negotiation, to on-ground execution and post-event measurement. • Experience ma
