About the role
Key responsibilities include: • Install, configure, and decommission servers, storage systems, and network equipment in data center environments • Follow established procedures to complete rack and stack operations, cable management, and hardware labeling • Apply troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve hardware failures and performance issues • Complete routine hardware maintenance tasks including firmware updates, component replacements, and system health checks • Support data center operations by monitoring environmental conditions and responding to alerts • Convey technical information clearly with team members, clients, and vendors during hardware-related activities • Maintain accurate documentation of hardware inventory, configurations, and maintenance activities • Follow safety protocols and data center security procedures at all times We want all new Associates to succeed in their roles at Ensono. That’s why we’ve outlined the job requirements below. To be considered for this role, it’s important that you meet all Required Qualifications. Shift is every other Wednesday, then Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for 4 months then which to every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, & every other Wednesday 6am-6pm What You Will Need: • 2-4 years of experience working with server hardware, data center operations, or related IT infrastructure roles • Understanding of server hardware components (CPUs, memory, storage, power supplies, network interfaces) • Knowledge of data center operations including rack installation, cable management, and environmental monitoring • Ability to follow established procedures and apply technical knowledge to complete assigned tasks • Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols • Physical ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs and work in data center environments • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Information Technology or related field preferred • Willingness to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotation as needed Bonus Qualifications • CompTIA A+, Server+, or similar hardware certifications • Experience with Dell, HP, Cisco, or other enterprise hardware platforms • Familiarity with ITIL practices and ticketing systems • Basic Linux or Windows server administration knowledge Why Ensono?
