THE ROLE We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to support our operations organization: fulfillment, supply chain, and logistics. This role owns financial reporting and analysis for operational cost structures and plays a key role in forecasting, planning, and strategic decision support. You'll help drive the annual planning process, monthly business reviews, and cross-functional initiatives by building financial models, analyzing operational KPIs, and providing insight into cost and efficiency drivers. Our ideal candidate is: • Genuinely curious and proactive • Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable to a changing environment • Extremely analytical and solution-oriented • Prefers working cross-functionally • Prioritizes building trust with their business partner(s) through detailed, accurate, and thorough analysis that considers all business impacts • Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment RESPONSIBILITIES • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and variance analyses for operations leadership and senior leadership • Build and maintain financial models for forecasting operational costs (fulfillment cost per order/unit, labor, freight, warehousing) • Analyze KPIs such as throughput, cost per unit, labor efficiency, inventory turns, and days of supply • Partner cross-functionally with Operations and Supply Chain teams to provide insight into cost drivers and process performance, at both aggregate and facility/SKU level • Model the financial impact of process changes and capex/opex tradeoffs, and lead ongoing tracking of initiative performance • Contribute to strategic projects aimed at cost optimization and operational efficiency QUALIFICATIONS • 3–5 years in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, or a related analytical field • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field • Experience in e-commerce, retail, or CPG is a plus • Advanced Excel skills and comfort with complex financial modeling • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret large data sets to draw actionable insights • Experience with SQL or BI tools (Domo, Tableau, etc.) strongly preferred • Experience with ERP/planning/forecasting/reporting tools (NetSuite, Adaptive, etc.) strongly preferred • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment REQUIREMENT • Quarterly travel to fulfillment centers BELONG TO A BETTER COMPANY • Comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision, life and disability) • Competitive salary (DOE) + equity • 401k plan • 9 Observed Holidays • Flexible Paid Time Off • Subsidized ClassPass Membership with access to fitness classes and wellness and beauty experiences • Ability to work in our beautiful office in Playa Vista • Free Thrive Market membership with exclusive employee di
