You will work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to bring modern, responsive digital experiences to life. As a senior engineer, you’ll be expected to take ownership of features from concept to store release, contribute to architectural decisions, ensure code quality, and mentor junior team members. You will also use AI coding agents as a core part of your daily work and help define how our mobile teams use them in client projects. Your expertise will help elevate engineering practices and strengthen Flutter adoption across projects. You will thrive in this role if you are: • A senior engineer who owns outcomes, makes pragmatic tradeoffs and can defend them to peers and clients • A collaborator who values teamwork and knowledge-sharing • Excited by the intersection of technology, creativity and data • Experienced in Agile methodologies and consulting (a plus) Role responsibilities • Develop cross-platform applications using Flutter for Android/iOS • Translate product requirements and UI designs into fully functional features • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices • Participate in code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and support team learning • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create seamless user experiences • Integrate apps with backend APIs and services • Monitor application performance and diagnose root causes in production • Go below the Flutter layer when needed: platform channels, FFI, native SDK integration • Work with AI coding agents daily and define team practices for them Must have qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: • 8+ years of total software development experience • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart in production, including apps with real users at scale • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and modern development practices • Experience writing unit widget and integration tests (experience with golden tests and Widgetbook is a plus) • Hands-on experience choosing and owning state management solutions (e.g., Riverpod, BLoC, Provider) and ability to justify the choice • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data flows • Understanding of responsive UI principles and mobile design guidelines • Solid knowledge of Git and CI/CD workflows, including code signing and app store release • Experience with local storage (e.g., Hive, SQLite) and performance optimization • Has owned the architecture of at least one non-trivial app using architectural patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.) and can explain what they would do differently • Experience collaborating with non-engineers (designers, product, clients) • Deep knowledge of Flutter inter
