- H-1B has no fixed salary bar: the employer must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role and area. Cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level. US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Universities and non-profit research employers are cap-exempt. The $100,000 fee for new petitions from abroad is currently blocked by a court order (appeal pending).

About the role
Who We Are
Cross River builds the infrastructure behind the world’s most innovative financial products. Our technology and capital solutions power payments, cards, lending, and digital asset capabilities that move money safely, instantly, and inclusively — trusted by leading fintechs, enterprises, and disruptors across the globe.
Our mission is simple: to build the financial infrastructure that expands access and opportunity for all. Guided by a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and purpose, Cross River has been named one of American Banker’s Best Places to Work in Fintech year after year. Whether you’re designing code, solving regulatory puzzles, or developing strategy, you’ll join a team where innovation and integrity drive everything we do — and where your work helps shape the future of finance.
What We're Looking For
Cross River originates billions in consumer credit annually through its multiple partners. We are building the rail that packages Cross River-originated credit and other interests into tokenized form, distributes it to institutional investors nationally and internationally through licensed partners, settles onchain, and provides the reporting and servicing infrastructure that institutional buyers require. The General Manager owns that business end to end: tokenized issuance, distribution through licensed partners, onchain settlement in USDC, and the data, NAV, attestation and investor-reporting infrastructure.
This is a founding, P&L-controlling seat. You will not inherit a template, a partner playbook, or a technology stack- you will decide what they should be. You will work alongside the Bank's origination, structured product and principal finance teams, who supply, structure and price the assets, while you own everything that happens after: how the asset is tokenized, distributed and how it is reported on for its life.
Mandate. Take the business from first transaction to functioning platform.
Launch. Establish the legal, technical and operational chain end to end, and execute the first programs.
Industrialize. Turn bespoke execution into a repeatable product, so that each successive program launches faster and costs less than the last.
Broaden . Expand the range of offering and distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Commercial ownership. Manage the P&L. Justify each programme and be accountable for the returns the business generates.
• Distribution. Build and manage relationships with licensed distribution partners and institutional investors internationally, converting early interest into recurring programmes.
• Tokenization and settlement. Own the technology strategy, including what to build and what to buy. Own onchain issuance, transfer controls, and stablecoin settlement operations.
• Data, servicing and reporting. Own the infrastructure behind every programme: loan-level data pipelines, reconciliation, NAV production, payment waterfalls, third-party verification, delinquency monitoring, and institutional-grade investor reporting. This is a build responsibility, and it is central to the role.
• Controls and perimeter. Operate within a regulated bank's control environment, working with Principal Finance, CRB Securities, Legal, Compliance and Risk to maintain a clean regulatory perimeter in every market served.
• Team. Hire and lead a small, senior, cross-functional team as needed.
Qualifications:
Required
• 10+ years in private credit, specialty finance, structured credit, or alternative asset management, in a front-office/middle-office or front-office-adjacent role.
• Demonstrated ownership of an Asset Management function, P&L, portfolio, or product mandate. With transactions closed in consumer or small-business credit - forward flow, whole loan sales, participations, or securitizatio
