Job Description   As part of Gilead's ERP and Digital Transformation strategy, we are seeking an Associate Director, SAP Product Lifecycle Management to serve as the Product Owner for Product Lifecycle Management capabilities supporting Pharmaceutical Development, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, and Supply Chain organizations. This leader will own the vision, roadmap, delivery strategy, and continuous improvement of PLM capabilities, driving the digital product lifecycle from product development through manufacturing, quality, regulatory compliance, and commercialization. The role will partner closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, and delivery teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and business-ready solutions.  This position will report to the Director, IT ERP PDM and is hybrid (3 days onsite) based in Foster City, CA. Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Business Partnership • Own the vision, roadmap, and lifecycle strategy for Product Lifecycle Management capabilities. • Serve as the primary IT partner for Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, and Supply Chain organizations. • Translate business priorities into product roadmaps, investment plans, and measurable business outcomes. • Drive stakeholder alignment, change adoption, and value realization. Product Lifecycle & Master Data Platform Ownership • Own the strategy, governance, architecture, and continuous improvement of SAP PLM, SAP MDG, Product Segmentation, and related Digital Product Platforms. • Govern capabilities including Specification Management, Recipe Development, BOM Management, Engineering Change Management, Labeling & Artwork, Product Data, Material Master, and Regulatory Product Data. • Drive the end-to-end digital product thread from product development through manufacturing, quality, release, logistics, and commercialization. • Establish enterprise standards and governance for product master data, lifecycle data, segmentation, and related business-critical information. • Partner with business leaders and data stewards to improve data quality, governance, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
