About the role
About us
Fashion Revolution Germany e.V. is the German chapter of Fashion Revolution, the global movement for a clean, safe, fair, transparent and accountable fashion industry. Since the Rana Plaza factory collapse in 2013, the movement has asked one question: Who made my clothes? As a non-profit association of designers, educators, communicators and activists, we run campaigns, workshops and events that make fashion’s social and environmental impacts visible and show practical alternatives such as repair, upcycling and circular models.
The project: RE/CLAIMED at Berlin Fashion Week
A key focus of this internship is RE/CLAIMED, a multidisciplinary sustainable fashion show supported by Fashion Revolution Germany. RE/CLAIMED combines upcycled runway looks, dance, live performance, music and interactive installations to change how people value their clothes. After a sold-out first edition in January 2026, the second edition will take place with around 400 guests expected.
Your role
You’ll pilot the day-to-day social media activities for RE/CLAIMED in the run-up to Berlin Fashion Week, during the show and in the follow-up. You’ll also support the coordination of the show and of Fashion Revolution Germany’s projects in Berlin. You’ll work directly with Eric Vincent Vinsonneau, who leads RE/CLAIMED, and alongside our communications partners.
Beyond RE/CLAIMED, you’ll take part in other Fashion Revolution Germany activities in Berlin. One example is our stand at the Alt-Rixdorfer Christmas Market in Neukölln on the weekend of 4–6 December 2026, where you’ll help with preparation, on-site support and social media coverage.
Your tasks
Social media (main focus)
• Plan and manage the content calendar for RE/CLAIMED’s Instagram, and optionally build a TikTok presence
• Create posts, stories and reels: behind the scenes, designer and performer portraits, countdowns and impact facts
• Cover the show live and produce recap content afterwards
• Engage with the community, partners, designers and press, and track performance
Project coordination
• Support show preparation: partners, designers, models, dancers, volunteers and schedules
• Help with on-site logistics on the show day
• Support other Fashion Revolution Germany projects in Berlin as needed
Your profile
• You have a strong interest in sustainable fashion and social or environmental topics
• You have experience creating social media content, ideally including short-form video
• You have a good eye for aesthetics and storytelling
• You’re organised, reliable and proactive, and comfortable working independently in a small team
• You speak fluent English (our working language). German is a strong plus.
• Bonus: Canva, CapCut, Adobe or similar tools; experience with events, fashion or non-profits
What we offer
• Real responsibility for the social media of a show at Berlin Fashion Week
• Hands-on insight into producing a fashion show, from planning to the runway
• Access to a strong network in Berlin’s sustainable fashion, creative and NGO scene
• Room for your own ideas and formats
• Hybrid and flexible working arrangements
• An internship certificate, and supervision and documentation for mandatory internships
Details
• Period: December 2026 – February 2027 (3 months)
• Hours: part-time or full-time, depending on your availability and study requirements
• Location: Berlin, hybrid (to be discussed). Presence is required on the show day and for key preparation dates.
• Type: unpaid internship, ideal as a mandatory internship (Pflichtpraktikum) as part of your studies
• Working language: English
