Reporting and Data Lead (Project Controls)

We're looking for an experienced Reporting and Data Lead to join our organization in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is a strategic leadership position designed for a seasoned professional with 10-15 years of expertise in reporting and data management within the Energy & Natural Resources sector. The ideal candidate will drive data-driven decision-making across our organization, establishing robust reporting frameworks and analytics capabilities. You will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that support business objectives across mining, oil & gas, power, energy, and utilities operations. • Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive reporting systems and dashboards that provide real-time visibility into key business metrics and performance indicators • Analyze complex datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for operational optimization • Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance across the organization • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions • Oversee the implementation and optimization of business intelligence platforms and data management tools • Develop and execute data strategy initiatives aligned with organizational goals and industry standards • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards specific to the Energy & Natural Resources sector • Present data insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic planning and decision-making • Manage data projects from conception through delivery, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards • Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies in data analytics and reporting • 10-15 years of professional experience with 5 year ideally in reporting, data analytics or project controls.  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar programming languages would be advantages  • Expert-level knowledge of business intelligence platforms (Power BI or equivalent)  • Strong expertise in data visualization and dashboard development • Proficiency in statistical analysis and predictive modeling • Solid understanding of data governance, data quality management, and compliance frameworks • Experience with relational and non-relational databases • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences • Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise data management systems • Professional certifications in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields are preferred Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
