Core Skills & Requirements • 5+ years of hands-on datacenter experience in a business-critical production environment; trading or other latency-sensitive experience is preferred. • Strong server hardware knowledge, including rack installation, PDUs, firmware/BIOS, out-of-band management, and component-level troubleshooting. • Strong structured cabling knowledge across copper, DAC/Twinax, and SM/MM fibre, including optical testing. • Good understanding of colocation power, cooling, redundancy, and environmental monitoring. • Basic troubleshooting and configuration experience with Cisco/Arista networking and Linux/Debian systems. • Experience managing colocation providers, carriers, contractors, cross-connects, and remote hands. • Strong project delivery, documentation, incident management, and stakeholder communication skills. • Willingness to travel frequently across Europe and participate in on-call support. • Valid driving licence and unrestricted ability to travel to and work at provider sites across the EU.
