Job Description:   Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is looking for a Principal Engineer based out of Huntsville, Alabama for the IBCS Poland Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS). IBCS Poland Integrated Battle Command System is a revolutionary, network enabled command-and control system developed by Northrop Grumman that Poland has deployed to unify its air and missile defense sensors and shooters. IBCS Poland Integrated Battle Command System delivers a single integrated air picture with unprecedented accuracy and broadens surveillance and protection areas. By implementing IBCS Poland Integrated Battle Command System into their militaries, the US and other nations are transforming their integrated missile defense capabilities in a consistent manner. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing test plans and procedures, establishing requirements traceability, supporting test readiness reviews, executing laboratory and system-level tests, analyzing test data, investigating anomalies, and documenting test results. The engineer will ensure test actives are conducted in accordance with approved procedure, configuration baselines, quality standards, and applicable program requirements. Basic Qualifications: Engineer Test (Level 2): Bachelors and 2 years; Associates and 4 years; or high school diploma and 6 years • Experience supporting systems engineering, test engineering, integration and test, verification and validation, or related engineering activities • Ability to interpret technical requirements, specifications, test procedures, and acceptance criteria • Experience documenting test results, identifying discrepancies and supporting technical investigations. • Strong Analytical, troubleshooting, written communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills • Ability to work within established processes and configuration-controlled environments • Active Security Clearance • Security + certification required Principal Engineer Test (Level 3): 5 years with bachelor’s degree in science; Associates and 7 years; 3 Years with Masters; 1 year with PhD or high school diploma and 9 years • Experience supporting systems engineering, test engineering, integration and test, verification and validation, or related engineering activities • Ability to interpret technical requirements, specifications, test procedures, and acceptance criteria • Experience documenting test results, identifying discrepancies and supporting technical investigations. • Strong Analytical, troubleshooting, written communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills • Ability to work within established processes and configuration-controlled environments • Demonstrated experience in systems, software, integration, and test engineering • Experience developing and executing test plans, proced
