Security Officer Apprentice

What you’ll be doing day to day: • Patrol the site to ensure safety and security of people, buildings and assets • Monitor entrances, exits and access control systems • Check ID badges, visitor passes and deliveries • Respond to alarms, incidents and emergencies following site procedures • Complete incident reports and daily occurrence logs accurately • Provide a visible security presence and excellent customer service • Monitor CCTV and other security systems where required • Carry out regular health and safety checks (e.g. fire exits, hazards) • Liaise with client staff, emergency services and colleagues as needed • Follow all Securitas policies, assignment instructions and safety rules Every day brings something new — and you’ll be supported at every step, to ensure you succeed. What you'll need: No security experience needed – just the right attitude! We’re looking for someone who: • Age 18+ • Ideal for someone with 0 to 6 months security experience • GCSE Maths & English (or willing to complete) • Good communication skills • Calm under pressure • Team player with attention to detail • Demonstrates integrity, vigilance and helpfulness — our core values If that sounds like you, you already have what it takes.
