About the team and position

Carvana Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is a factory-authorized Stellantis dealership adding an Express Lead Technician to our service department. Our Express lane keeps customers moving with fast, high-quality maintenance, and this role leads the team that makes it happen while staying hands-on in the work.
We’re looking for an Express Lead Technician to be the leader of our Express team. This is a true player-coach role: you’ll mentor and coach our Express technicians, hold the line on quality, and jump in on the tools whenever the lane gets busy. You’ll also step into the main line to complete repairs recommended during Express visits, so customers get everything done in one trip.
If you’re detail-oriented, love developing people, and take pride in doing the job right the first time, we want to talk to you.
What you’ll be doing
• Mentor the Express Team: Mentor Express technicians on technique, efficiency, and quality. Give regular, constructive feedback, share what you know, and help them build their skills and their careers.
• Quality Control: Perform quality checks on completed Express work to confirm every service meets factory procedures and our standards before the vehicle goes back to the customer.
• Work Alongside the Team: Perform Express services (oil and filter changes, fluid services, tire rotations, multi-point inspections, and other maintenance) and lean in to keep vehicles moving when the lane is busy.
• Complete Main Line Repairs: Perform repairs recommended from Express visits and approved by the customer (for example, a brake job found during an oil change), following factory repair procedures and service information.
• Warranty and Recall Work: Perform factory recall campaigns and warranty repairs in line with Stellantis procedures.
• Customer and Advisor Communication: Document findings and communicate them to advisors using digital inspections and video so customers understand what their vehicle needs.
• Operational Excellence: Keep the Express lane clean, safe, and organized, with tools and equipment properly stored and maintained.
• Team Collaboration: Work with advisors, parts, fellow technicians, and leadership to keep a steady, seamless workflow.
