Food Server - Casual Dining

The Casual Dining Food Server is responsible for delivering friendly, efficient, and engaging service to guests within Wynn Las Vegas. This role ensures guests enjoy a welcoming and memorable dining experience through knowledgeable menu recommendations, attentive service, and a commitment to operational excellence. The Food Server serves as the primary point of contact for guests throughout their dining experience, balancing exceptional hospitality with the pace and energy of a high-volume casual dining environment while upholding Wynn’s service standards and commitment to guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Guest Experience & Service Delivery • Provide prompt, courteous, and attentive service to guests throughout the dining experience. • Create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages guest satisfaction and repeat visits. • Anticipate guest needs and respond efficiently to requests. • Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor while delivering exceptional hospitality. Order Taking & Menu Knowledge • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, daily specials, and beverage selections. • Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders, including modifications and dietary restrictions. • Make recommendations based on guest preferences and menu familiarity. • Communicate menu items clearly and answer guest questions with confidence. Food & Beverage Service • Serve food and beverages accurately and in a timely manner. • Monitor table progress and coordinate service flow to ensure an enjoyable dining experience. • Verify order accuracy before delivering items to guests. • Follow established service standards for food presentation and guest interaction. Table Maintenance & Dining Room Support • Maintain clean, organized, and guest-ready tables throughout service. • Perform pre-bussing and table clearing to enhance guest comfort and support efficient operations. • Coordinate with bussers, food runners, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service execution. • Reset tables promptly according to department standards. Guest Relations & Service Recovery • Address guest concerns professionally and promptly. • Partner with management to resolve service issues and recover guest satisfaction when necessary. • Maintain a positive attitude while handling guest feedback and special requests. • Ensure every guest interaction reflects Wynn’s commitment to excellence. Coordination & Team Collaboration • Work collaboratively with hosts, food runners, bussers, bartenders, and culinary teams. • Communicate guest preferences, allergies, and special requests effectively. • Participate in pre-shift meetings and departmental briefings. • Support team members during peak service periods to ensure operational success. Financial & Operational Responsibilities • Accurately process guest checks and complete all financial transactions. • Promote menu items, specialty offerings, and beverages to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue. • Maintain awareness of departmental goals and contribute to overall team performance. • Follow all cash-handling and point-of-sale procedures. Compliance & Brand Standards • Adhere to Wynn grooming, uniform, and appearance standards at all times. • Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service regulations. • Uphold Wynn’s core values and service standards in every guest interaction. • Execute all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures. Education & Experience • High school diploma or equivalent required. • 1-2+ years of experience as a food server in a restaurant, hospitality, or guest service environment preferred. • Experience in a high-volume casual dining environment preferred. • Candidates must be at least
