Shape the Future of AI-Powered Public services with ADC Our Public & Society team is growing, and we are looking for a Data Engineer who is curious, technically driven, and eager to grow with us. As a Data Engineer, you will design and build scalable data pipelines that turn complex, high-volume datasets into reliable, production-ready foundations for engineering and analytics. You will contribute to AI initiatives for public institutions, developing scalable systems that help improve public services, optimize operations, and enable data-driven decision-making. You will work in n highly regulated environments where security, privacy, traceability, and reliability are critical requirements. You'll be part of a true collective, working alongside consultants, data scientists, data engineers, and AI specialists. Where you'll make an impact Data Pipeline Development & Engineering • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that address complex challenges within public sector organizations. • Develop data solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) that follow modern engineering and security best practices. • Work with complex, high-volume, and heterogeneous datasets, ensuring data quality, traceability, and reproducibility. Technical delivery & tooling • Contribute to and implement solutions using modern data engineering frameworks. • Support projects end-to-end, from early discovery and design through to production deployment. • Help public sector organizations adopt engineering solutions responsibly by promoting best practices around model monitoring, governance, and operational excellence. Collaboration & collective development • Collaborate closely with AI engineers, data engineers, data scientists, and client stakeholders to co-create solutions that work in practice. • Break down data engineering concepts into clear, practical recommendations that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences. • Continuously improve engineering practices, architectures, and ways of working to deliver sustainable, high-quality outcomes.
