About the role
Help Us Change the Way the World Works
Turn AI ambition into production systems that run the business
Langdock exists to change the way the world works, bridging the gap between what technology can do and what people actually do with it. We bring all leading AI models into one secure, model-agnostic platform and make them usable across entire organizations. Over 10,000 companies use our platform every day, from fast-growing startups to some of Europe's largest enterprises.
About the Role
Most enterprises have bought AI. Far fewer have it running their core operations. As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Langdock, you take our most valuable customer use cases from idea to production. You work inside the customer's problem, build the agents, workflows, apps and integrations that solve it, and turn every win into a reusable pattern the whole company can use.
You work as part of Customer Success alongside our Account Owner, and you are the technical partner in the customer's transformation. You will feed what you learn in the field back into our product, and you will have real influence over what we build next.
And you will build with our own platform every day. Everyone at Langdock automates their own work with agents and workflows. You will too.
What You Will Do
• Run technical discovery on qualified, high-value use cases: map processes, systems, data flows and constraints with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Design and build production-grade agents, workflows, Skills, Apps and integrations on Langdock, from first prototype to company-wide rollout.
• Own the implementation of advanced and beta-feature use cases, and of high-profile proofs of concept, together with the Account Owner.
• Turn individual solutions you built into reusable patterns, templates and on-platform resources, and maintain the bundles repository.
• Measure impact: time saved, costs reduced, tools replaced, quality improved and time to value. Package the results into ROI stories that customers and colleagues can act on.
• Support our Partners with architecture reviews, high-profile scoping sessions and targeted enablement, so they can deliver independently.
• Be the technical voice of the customer internally, without losing sight of our principle: Product > Customer Success > Marketing > Sales.
You Might Be a Fit If…
• You have 3+ years of experience building production software, data or integration systems, ideally in a customer-facing role.
• You build with AI, not just talk about it. You have hands-on experience with LLM APIs, agents, tool use, retrieval and workflow automation, and you know how to choose between models and approaches.
• You can talk credibly about data privacy, security, identity and integration architecture with CISOs, IT leads and engineers, because you have solved these problems before.
• You are good at scoping. You know which work is worth doing, you say no to the rest, and you ship what you commit to.
• You translate business problems into technical designs and technical trade-offs into business terms for executives.
• You are commercially aware. You understand that your work drives retention and expansion, and you care about that outcome.
• You are fluent in German (C1+) and English.
• You are a kind person who cares about the people around you.
Bonus: you come from an AI-native company or an early-stage startup. Founder or early-employee experience is a plus, as are public projects such as MCP servers, open-source contributions or AI tooling you have shipped.
The Environment
We work from our office in Berlin, Greifswalder Strasse 212. Everyone works together in person because the hardest problems get solved faster at a whiteboard than in a Slack thread. Days start at 8:30. Lunch and dinner are toget
