About the job We are looking for a full-time (40-hour) Broker for the German market to join our team at our head office on the Keizersgracht in Amsterdam. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating and optimizing transactions across a diverse client portfolio. This position requires a strong understanding of the complex biofuel landscape, including identifying opportunities, negotiating transactions, and ensuring regulatory compliance. If you have a natural interest in sustainability and trading, this could be the right fit for you. • Tasks and Responsibilities • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships and understand their needs across the biofuel supply chain. Provide tailored solutions, market insights, and identify both domestic and international arbitrage opportunities in collaboration with other OLYX desks. • Commercial Acumen: Demonstrate a strong business sense with a solid understanding of commercial principles, market dynamics, and strategic thinking. Identify opportunities, assess risks, and make data-informed decisions that drive growth. • Market Analysis : Stay up to date with developments in the German and European biofuel markets, including regulatory changes, pricing trends, and project opportunities.
