About the role
About Ordio
80% of the world’s workforce doesn’t sit at a desk, yet most software is built for the 20% who do. Ordio is the AI-native workforce management (WFM) system for deskless workforces: shift planning, time tracking and payroll for the people who keep restaurants, shops and services running.
The role
This is not a “support the team and update spreadsheets” internship. You’ll help find out where Ordio’s next stage of growth comes from, and then make it happen. You get real problems and the tools to solve them, and nobody tells you how.
What you will do
• Find new growth levers and revenue streams. Spot opportunities and take them from 0 to 1 and beyond: analyze, test, iterate, scale
• Understand the problem first. Talk to customers, map markets and figure out what deskless businesses actually struggle with
• Get to product-market fit in new verticals. Find out which industries need Ordio most, validate quickly and build the go-to-market for them
• Drive geographical expansion. Evaluate new markets, size the opportunity and build the playbook for entering them
• Build AI-powered GTM engines. Automate research, enrichment and outbound with Clay, HubSpot, LLMs and whatever else works
• Work directly with the founders on strategy, and own at least one initiative end-to-end
Who you are
• High agency: you don’t wait for instructions, you figure it out and ship
• Obsessed with understanding problems, customers and markets before jumping to solutions
• You already use AI tools beyond ChatGPT prompts, e.g. agents and automations
• Analytical and numbers-driven, comfortable making decisions with incomplete data
• Fluent in German and English
• Student (Bachelor/Master), available for 3–6 months, full-time
What you get
• Real ownership and visible impact from week one
• Access to every AI tool you need
• Founder-level exposure: you sit where strategy and growth decisions are made, and you help make them
• A front-row seat to building the AI-native category in workforce management
• Fair internship pay of €2,500
• Modern office in Cologne and top-notch equipment
How to apply
Apply with your CV and 2–3 sentences about the coolest thing you’ve built with AI (a link is even better).
