About the role
Your Mission
Cosuno is a platform for construction tendering in the German-speaking market. It connects general contractors, who publish bid packages, with subcontractors, who bid on them, and both sides pay. As our GTM & Growth Engineer, you build the automation and data behind marketing and growth. You find where work is manual or where data goes unused, build a solution that works in one area, such as paid marketing, lifecycle, sales handovers or content, and then reuse it across the others. You work closely with our Senior Lifecycle & Customer Growth Manager, the Demand Generation Manager and the Marketing Lead, and you ship things with a business outcome attached, not infrastructure for its own sake. You'll be the first engineer in a lean marketing team: you'll shape how our growth stack is built, not just maintain a fixed setup.
What you'll do
• You automate marketing and lifecycle operations: triggers, segments, workflows and personalization in ActiveCampaign and Salesforce, so journeys react to what customers do.
• You automate paid marketing: audience syncs and suppression from CRM and product data, conversion data fed back to the ad platforms, and campaign feeds and landing pages that adapt to where bids are missing on the Marketplace. Demand Generation owns strategy and budget; you build the machinery.
• You build the data and signal plumbing: product events, Salesforce, ActiveCampaign, enrichment, transaction history and our BigQuery warehouse, connected, clean and usable.
• You automate creative production: ad, email and landing-page variants inside our brand templates, with human review before anything goes live.
• You build once and reuse everywhere: what works in one area becomes a reusable capability for paid, lifecycle, sales and content.
• You find the manual work and the unused data, such as reporting, list building, call transcripts and enrichment, and replace it with automation and LLM-based tools, including the content engine for SEO and AI search.
• You give the team fast experimentation: reusable test set-ups, holdouts and measurement, so tests launch in days, not weeks.
• You launch with care: human checks in every automation, proof against a control or holdout before you scale, and a launch plan with scope, review steps, rollout and rollback.
What You Bring
• You've built marketing or growth automation that runs in production: paid media integrations, CRM and lifecycle workflows, data pipelines, ideally in B2B SaaS or a two-sided business.
• You're hands-on with APIs, webhooks and automation tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier or Clay; Python or TypeScript and SQL are a strong plus.
• You know ad platform and CRM data: audiences, conversion tracking and the limits of attribution.
• You've shipped LLM-based or agentic automation into a real workflow, not just used AI to write copy faster.
• You think in outcomes: a working use case in two weeks beats a platform in six months, and you measure what you build.
• You're careful with what goes live: you check outputs by hand, test against a control before you trust a result, and plan launches step by step with a way back.
• You work well with marketers and explain trade-offs plainly.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
Your Benefits
• Room to shape and grow: The first engineer in Marketing, deciding how our growth stack is built.
• AI at the core: Our product uses AI to analyze millions of price data points and help construction companies bid better — and we invest in it just as much internally. You'll build with the latest tools and move fast, not wait for approval.
• Competitive compensation: Salary above market average, permanent contract in a stable, well-funded company.
• Work-life balance: Fully remote or from our office in Berlin Kreu
