About the role

About TransPerfect TransPerfect is a global leader in language services, technology, digital solutions, and business services, helping some of the world’s largest organizations communicate, operate, and grow more effectively. As TransPerfect continues to expand its Consulting and Digital businesses, we are building a team of experienced, consultative sales professionals who can engage senior business and technology leaders, uncover complex business challenges, and develop solutions that deliver meaningful business outcomes. The Role We are looking for a Director of Business Development to help build and grow TransPerfect’s enterprise consulting business by identifying complex business challenges within large global organizations and developing consulting-led solutions to address them. This is not a traditional product or transactional sales role. You will often engage clients before a specific solution, project, or RFP has been defined. You will work with senior executives to understand their strategic priorities, identify barriers to achieving them, quantify the business impact, and bring together the appropriate TransPerfect consulting, technology, digital, content, data, AI, and operational capabilities to develop a solution. TransPerfect already has relationships with many of the world’s largest enterprises. A significant part of this role is taking those relationships further upstream—expanding conversations from individual services and operational stakeholders to broader transformation initiatives and executive-level business priorities. Success in this role requires the ability to create opportunities, not simply manage them once they exist.
