Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer, you develop C++ software, software calibration protocols and user interfaces for high tech electrical measuring instruments. These systems are used to test the most advanced chips behind the innovations of the future. This role is specifically focused on software development on the PC side. Technical challenges do not put you off. On the contrary, you enjoy solving them and working closely together with your software, hardware and firmware colleagues to create smart and reliable solutions. Do you have a completed Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Software Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and already have several years of work experience? Are you familiar with C++ software development and do you feel at home in PC side software development? Then it is good to know that this position is not focused on embedded software development. Does it suit you to show initiative and work together with other technical colleagues on highly innovative projects? Then we are looking for you. What you will be doing in your role • Designing, implementing and verifying drivers (PC-based) for high-tech instruments in test solutions for ATE (Automatic Test Equipment); • Designing, implementing and verifying calibration protocols to ensure the accuracy of the instruments; • Writing automated tests for hardware validation and developing user interfaces; • Keeping information up to date; • You are responsible for your own planning and report to your project leader / scrum master.
