About the role
Build the Treuhand of 2030.
Co-founder wanted: certified fiduciary (Treuhänder/in).
We believe that by 2030 at the latest, AI agents will handle most routine work in a Treuhand. That leaves fiduciaries with the work that needs judgment: reviewing, advising clients and signing off.
We are founding that Treuhand for Swiss startups and SMEs. AI agents prepare the work, and a qualified fiduciary signs off everything that goes to clients and authorities.
Underneath runs a finance stack built for agents, with clean data, a full audit trail and connections to the systems clients already use. Long term, we aim to run our clients' whole finance function on this stack, from bookkeeping to reporting, planning and investor/board updates.
Where we stand
The company is not founded yet. We are testing the problem in interviews with founders, CFOs and fiduciaries, three startups are interested in a paid pilot, and we have built a first prototype. You would join from day one and build the company with me. We will add a technical co-founder at a later stage.
Who you would work with
I'm Jonas Baer, two-time entrepreneur and fractional CFO for Swiss startups. As a Venturelab trainer and Innosuisse expert, I work closely with Swiss founders, the clients we want to serve. Before that I was CFO and director at a startup where we grew revenue to almost CHF 10M and the team to over 40. I studied Business Informatics at UZH and bridge finance and IT (linkedin.com/in/jonas-baer).
What you would do
• Decide which workflows we automate first, where the AI acts alone and where a fiduciary signs
• Teach the agents Swiss practice (MWST, AHV/BVG/UVG, booking rules) and test them on real documents
• Serve the first pilot clients yourself
• Build and lead the operations team as we scale
You have the final say on what gets booked, filed and signed.
What you bring
• Treuhänder/in mit eidg. Fachausweis or dipl. Treuhandexperte/-in (or comparable)
• 4+ years of experience with SMEs and startups
• Hands-on with accounting systems such as Abacus, Bexio or Odoo (migration experience is a plus)
• Daily user of AI tools
• Founder mindset, comfortable deciding with incomplete information
• Fluent in German and English
• Based in or near Zürich
