We build the pipelines that power the modern data stack for thousands of companies, turning that foundation into the basis for AI-driven analytics. As a Resident Solution Architect, you're the one who makes that connection real for our enterprise customers. You'll join our Professional Services team to facilitate the implementation, configuration, and optimization of the Fivetran and dbt platforms. From initial architecture through production deployment and customer enablement, all while working directly with customer stakeholders and internal teams across Sales, Product, and Engineering. This role sits within our EMEA Professional Services team and supports our French-speaking customer base, with travel expected at approximately 10–15% between customer visits and events. Technologies You’ll Use This role is primarily focused on supporting our Fivetran product customers, though you'll also work with dbt Platform. Beyond developing expertise in our core product offerings, you will be exposed to a number of technologies like: • Data Sources: Applications (Salesforce, Google Ads, etc), Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, etc), Events (Kafka, Kinesis, etc), Files (S3, SFTP, etc.) • Data Targets: Data Lakes (Iceberg, Delta), Data Warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, etc.) • Container Technology: Docker/Podman, Kubernetes • Languages: SQL, Python, bash or PowerShell, other languages are nice-to-have • Networking: SSH tunnelling, VPNs, Privatelink • AI/Data Connectivity: Vector indices and embeddings for unstructured data, semantic layers (Looker, Omni, dbt Semantic Layer), and the Fivetran context service (Claude, ChatGPT connectors) • Git What You’ll Do • Manage customer engagements, with a focus on ensuring customer success through implementation, adoption and expansion of Fivetran products • Empower customer teams to take full ownership of Fivetran implementations by providing hands-on training, detailed documentation, and ongoing support, ensuring they feel confident managing their data pipelines independently • Work alongside the wider Account team to develop and execute the adoption of Fivetran’s products • Act as a primary liaison point between your customers, Product and Engineering • Contribute to internal initiatives, such as the development of business processes to enhance the Fivetran stakeholder experience Skills We’re Looking For • Fluency in both French and English • 5+ years of experience with technical data tooling, ideally including direct customer-facing delivery • Being comfortable in deep technical conversations on the topics of the modern data stack, data replication and data storage • A proactive, resourceful attitude, with the ability to manage scope, timelines, and deliverables independently across multiple concurrent engagements • Solid expertise in at least one data platform (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift), with proven hands-on experience with Fivetran Bonus Skills • Extensive customer-facing experience • Previous experience with any of the following: • dbt experience that applies to any of the above • The major cloud vendors (AWS, Azure & GCP) • Enterprise platforms such as SAP or IBM iSeries • Familiarity with semantic layers (Looker, Omni, or dbt Semantic Layer) and how they support AI/LLM-driven data access Pe
