Collections Controller (m/f/d) - International Intermediary Business (B2P)

Join SIXT as our new Collections Controller within our International Intermediary Business (B2P) team in Lisbon!    In this strategic role, you'll be the trusted point of contact for our global intermediary partners across multiple markets, taking full ownership of collections, dispute resolution, and special billing processes. You'll work at the intersection of finance, operations, and commercial strategy – ensuring financial transparency, protecting revenue, and contributing directly to the success of one of the world's leading mobility providers. You'll report directly to our Senior Executive Manager Controlling for B2P.  YOUR ROLE AT SIXT • You own the collections process for our international intermediary partners, proactively resolving past-due accounts through structured analysis, negotiation, and collaboration with receivables management, customer service, and commercial teams across regions • You monitor and drive performance by tracking collection KPIs, identifying trends and risks, and providing timely, data-driven reporting to senior management and key stakeholders • You manage complex billing processes, including partner incentive calculations, bonus settlements, and special billing arrangements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness • You ensure data integrity across all receivables and billing workflows, investigating discrepancies, identifying root causes, and implementing preventive measures to enhance process quality • You build strategic relationships with internal teams and external business partners, acting as a trusted advisor and fostering collaborative, win-win solutions in challenging situations YOUR SKILLS MATTER • Experience You bring a background in Accounts Receivable, Collections, Credit Control, or Receivables Management – international, B2B, or multi-entity exposure is a strong plus, but we welcome applicants at all career stages who bring the right analytical mindset and drive • Excel Proficiency You have strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, power pivots, and data manipulation for analysis and reporting • Problem-Solving You approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, tenacity, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally and diplomatically • Organization You are highly organized and structured, thriving in fast-paced, agile environments with shifting priorities and tight deadlines • Languages You are fluent in English (mandatory); additional languages (namely German or French) are a strong plus • Systems & Tools You are familiar with ERP systems (SAP experience is advantageous), and any previous experience in the car rental, mobility, travel, or tourism industry, basic SQL knowledge, or exposure to AI/automation tools is a strong plus WHAT WE OFFER • The SIXT Lisbon Experience Two of Lisbon's most exciting hubs — Factory Lisboa in Beato and ARTs Lisboa in Parque das Nações — are where you'll find your new home base.
