Workplace & Security Engineer - Final Year Intern

As a Workplace & Security Engineer Intern, you’ll design, automate, and secure the internal systems Maki runs on every day, from laptop provisioning and access management to the controls and processes that keep our people, devices, and data safe. What you’ll be working on • Building automation that removes manual work from our IT and security operations (provisioning, access reviews, reporting) so they scale with the company • Deploying and hardening our macOS fleet through MDM: enrollment, role-based app sets, security baselines, patch compliance, and encryption • Owning identity and access management across our tools: onboarding and offboarding workflows, least-privilege access, SSO and MFA hygiene • Defining and maintaining workplace and security processes, and helping Maki meet the certification, customer, and regulatory requirements that come with them • Monitoring our environment, running vulnerability assessments on our internal tools and infrastructure, and following findings through to remediation • Handling support requests across hardware, software, and network issues, seeing them through to resolution, and turning the recurring ones into something that doesn’t come back This role is for you if... • You want to shape how a fast-moving tech company runs and protects its workplace • You’re curious about how systems work and how they can break, and you enjoy making them both easier to use and harder to misuse • You take ownership of problems, follow through without being chased, and have a natural attention to detail • You want to work in a small team where your contributions are visible and your questions are genuinely welcome • You’re looking for a real internship, one where you learn by doing, not by watching What we’re looking for • You’re finishing your studies (Bac+4/Bac+5) in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field and are looking for an end-of-studies internship • You have a solid understanding of operating systems and networking, and some exposure to security fundamentals (access control, device hardening, vulnerability management) • You’re comfortable scripting to automate tasks (Python, Bash, or similar) • You are comfortable working in English (French is a plus) • Familiarity with Google Workspace, MDM solutions, or identity management tools is a plus Recruitment process • Mochi Screening and Shiro assessment: experience our product firsthand • Interview with our IT Workplace Lead and Security Lead • Final conversation with our CTPO Find Jobs in France on Arbeitnow
