About the role

Accreditation Manager Build the processes that let Calibre expand into its next standard - and make every launch easier than the last. London, Aldgate East | 5 days in office | Start ASAP £40,000-£60,000 + 0.1%-0.3% equity | 2-5 years' experience Build a new kind of certification company AI is changing how companies work. They still need independent assurance that their systems can be trusted. Calibre is building a global certification business for that world, combining rigorous assessment with AI-powered operations. Founded by two former Palantir engineers and backed by a $3.3m pre-seed round, we are starting with information security and expanding into AI management systems and further ISO standards. You will work directly with the founders to build the policies, processes and evidence that make that expansion possible. What you will own You will be the hands-on execution owner for new accreditation programmes, with an initial focus on ISO 42001 and expansion into other ISO standards. Gautham, CEO will manage you, and you will report directly to the founders. - Write the substance. Translate standards and accreditation requirements into clear policies, procedures, responsibilities and records that reflect how Calibre actually operates. - Find gaps and close them. Run and coordinate internal audits of Calibre's own systems, with appropriate independence and technical support. Identify missing evidence, test whether processes work, and build or improve them when they do not. - Carry the accreditation process through. Maintain the requirements map and evidence trail; coordinate specialists, accreditation bodies and assessments; track findings, corrective actions and deadlines through to closure. - Make the work compound. Turn each programme into reusable templates, clause mappings, evidence libraries, AI workflows and quality checks. Improve these with every assessment, then apply them to the next standard. Support will be provided by our founders, technical specialists and commercial team, with commercial handoffs where needed. You will own making the work happen and ensuring it stands up to scrutiny. What success looks like A working set of internal processes that gives us confidence the next standard will be faster to add than the last: clearer requirements, stronger evidence, less repeated work and fewer avoidable gaps, while preserving the rigour of each assessment. Rigour. Ownership. Good judgment with AI. Who we are looking for - 2-5 years of experience in consulting, clinical trials or medical device certification processes. You have learned to navigate complex requirements, demanding reviews and work where details matter. - Strong writing and structured thinking. You can turn an ambiguous requirement into a precise policy, a workable process and evidence that it is being followed. You can explain and defend what you have written. - A record of getting things finished. You have personally delivered complex work, coordinated stakeholders and resolved gaps. You follow up, raise blockers early and create a process when one is missing. - Practical AI fluency. You are comfortable working with Codex, Claude Code or equivalent agents on substantive tasks and building reusable workflows around them. Knowing when to stop using AI is essential We want someone who knows where AI helps, how to give it useful context and how to verify its work against the source. Just as importantly, you must recognise when it is adding noise, missing the point or weakening the writing - and stop using it, think the problem through and write the answer yourself. You remain accountable for every output. Experience with ISO management systems, internal audits, accreditation assessments, external assessors or workflow automation would be useful. Deep knowl
