About the role

You see the medications on the table, the fall risks, the caregiver dynamics, the food insecurity, the missed follow-ups, and the small clinical changes that can become major health events if no one catches them early. About the Role This is a full-time, field-based role involving daily travel to conduct visits in members' homes. Candidates must reside in or near one of our covered service areas throughout Georgia. We're looking for Certified Medical Assistants who are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality care in patients' homes. In this role, you'll work alongside providers to support patients with complex healthcare needs while helping improve health outcomes through personalized, community-based care. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position. New Grads and Uncertified MAs Welcome: We know great caregivers come from every stage of their careers. Whether you've just completed your Medical Assistant program or have hands-on experience but haven't yet earned certification, we want to hear from you. • Certified MAs (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) start at a higher hourly rate. • Uncertified MAs: We'll support you in earning your certification and reward it with a pay increase once you do. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday, field-based role. You must reside in or near Chatham County, GA as the position involves driving to and conducting member visits in their homes. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will: • Partner with Providers before, during, and after visits to support patient care. • Be the friendly, trusted face members rely on during visits, helping with translation, gathering information, taking vitals, and answering questions. • Perform phlebotomy and other essential medical tasks as directed by the Provider. • Help close care gaps, review consent forms, and keep documentation accurate. • Coordinate through electronic health records (EHR) systems. • Maintain medical supplies and ensure smooth, well-prepared visits. • Support outreach efforts to schedule visits and strengthen patient engagement. • Drive independently or with the provider to patient visits. You should get in touch if: • You hold a Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program. • You have at least 1 year of healthcare experience (home-based care a plus). • You have a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire). • You have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • You have basic computer proficiency; and are comfortable with documentation in electronic medical records (EMRs). • You are able to walk up 3 flights of stairs and carry up to 40 lbs. of equipment. • You are fluent in both English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills (preferred but not required).
