Senior IT Solution Engineer (R&D IT)

Shape the future of our OE business processes through innovative IT solutions. As a Senior IT Solution Engineer, you will work closely with our Original Equipment (OE) Business Solutions team to understand their processes, challenges and strategic objectives. By combining business insight with a strong focus on usability, you will design efficient, user-friendly digital solutions that help our users work smarter and more effectively. Acting as the bridge between business and IT, you will analyze existing processes, identify improvement opportunities and proactively propose ideas to close process gaps and increase operational efficiency. Together with business stakeholders and IT development teams, you will translate requirements into practical solutions that deliver measurable value and excellent user experience. Your curiosity, analytical thinking, and proactive mindset will help drive continuous improvement, ensuring that our digital tools not only meet business needs but are also intuitive and enjoyable to use. Your responsibilities : • Partner with OE Business Solutions team to understand business needs and processes; • Lead IT projects in close collaboration with the Business Project Leader to design, implement and deploy new system functionalities for an existing in-house system; • Take ownership of an existing in-house system as application or product owner; • Design and propose efficient, user-centric IT solutions that deliver measurable business value; • Identify process gaps and proactively drive continuous improvement initiatives; • Translate business requirements into clear functional concepts and development priorities; • Coordinate with IT development teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions; • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and support change management activities; • Monitor solution effectiveness and continuously optimize processes and systems; • Act as a trusted advisor, helping business teams leverage technology to achieve their goals. • University degree in Computer Science or other related subject area; • +2 years of work experience in IT consulting, business analysis, product ownership, process management, or a comparable role; • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills; • Excellent communication and presentation skills; • Experience with Agile software development methodologies & project management; • Experience in software engineering and development (is a plus). • Proficient English language skills (written and verbal).
