No salary bar for this route
H-1B has no fixed salary bar: the employer must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role and area. Cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level. US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Universities and non-profit research employers are cap-exempt. The $100,000 fee for new petitions from abroad is currently blocked by a court order (appeal pending).

Product Designers own the end-to-end jobs our customers hire Alloy to do, like building and testing fraud policies, investigating cases, and responding to sudden fraud attacks, even when those jobs span multiple features, teams, and systems. We are working to make complex business software that feels like a consumer-grade tool our users love. Alloy operates in a hybrid-work environment. We look to foster collaboration and community by having our local employees onsite three days a week. What you'll be doing As a Senior Product Designer you will move across Alloy's core workflows wherever the most important user problems are. You'll find the problems worth solving, build the case for them, and see the solution all the way through to adoption. • Own end-to-end jobs to be done across the Alloy product, building deep expertise in fraud, compliance, and how risk teams actually work through product usage data, customer conversations, and support context • Identify the user behaviors most important to change, build a theory of success for each change, and track progress with data • Set a vision for your workflows and build the business case for it, shaping roadmap decisions with Product Managers while delivering value in increments • Pick the tool that gets to the outcome fastest: a whiteboard to align, a deck to persuade, Figma to explore, or the code itself when building is the quickest path • Partner with engineers from first concept through handoff, and rigorously QA your work, accessibility included, before it reaches customers • Plan each release, put it in front of early adopters, and use their feedback to take features to general availability • Raise the craft bar across information architecture, interaction design, visual design, and UX writing, evolve Alloy's design system, and sharpen the team's work through critique Who we’re looking for Must-haves: • 7+ years of product design experience on complex B2B or data-heavy products including flows that are hard to automate • Experience across the full design process, from user research and prototyping through interaction design, visual design, and usability testing • A portfolio that shows simple solutions to complex problems, strong product judgment, and an eye for detail • Confidence with technical concepts, including a working knowledge of semantic HTML, accessibility principles, and design systems • A track record of forming a point of view, adjusting it quickly as new information arrives, and moving cross-functional partners without formal authority • A low-ego, team-first approach: curious, open to feedback, and invested in the people who spend their whole workday in your product Nice-to-haves: • Experience designing for fintech, financial services, or other regulated domains • Experience at an early or growth-stage startup • Hands-on experience building with AI-assisted design or coding tools • A d
