This role is vital for translating complex nutrition science into clear, credible messages that support product development, marketing, and communication. You will be the trusted nutrition business partner on the ground, connecting global insights with local needs to strengthen our nutrition leadership. Your work helps shape how our products meet real nutritional needs, making better food accessible and understandable in kitchens and healthcare settings.
What you'll do
• Activate and adapt global nutrition strategies and materials for local markets, ensuring relevance and accuracy for healthcare professionals and consumers.
• Monitor local nutrition science developments, media coverage, and competitor activity to provide timely insights to the global nutrition team.
• Build strong partnerships with marketing, sales, communications, and other internal teams to embed nutrition expertise across the business.
• Deliver internal nutrition education and training to enhance local team knowledge and capability.
• Represent Flora Food Group at local conferences and events, communicating our nutrition messages with confidence and clarity.
Performance
You will own the local execution of global nutrition science initiatives, ensuring consistent application of nutrition standards and evidence-based communication. Your data-driven insights and proactive approach will improve decision-making and strengthen our market position. Success will be measured by the effective local activation of nutrition materials, stakeholder engagement, and the quality of nutrition guidance provided.
Care
This role reports to the global nutrition team and works closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, communications, regulatory affairs, and product development. You will foster collaboration and accountability, ensuring nutrition science is applied responsibly and sustainably. Your long-term focus will help build a trusted nutrition foundation that supports both consumer health and business growth.
Passion
You are a food lover and nutrition enthusiast who thrives on translating science into practical, meaningful messages. Your curiosity about taste, nutrition, and food functionality drives you to raise the bar in how nutrition benefits are communicated. You take pride in being a credible, approachable expert who inspires confidence in both internal teams and external partners.
About you
You hold a Master's degree in Nutrition, are a Registered Dietitian, or have a related qualification. You are fluent in German in writing and speaking and preferably bring experience working with healthcare professionals (HCPs) in Germany, with a strong understanding of how the local HCP network operates. Your experience includes applied nutrition science within the food industry, ideally in fast-moving consumer goods. You bring strong skills in nutrition data analysis, standards application, and regulatory frameworks. You communicate complex nutrition science clearly and adapt your style to diverse audiences. You are a proactive self-starter who works autonomously, builds strong relationships, and confidently manages stakeholder expectations.
You are genuinely interested in food culture and curious about how consumer behaviour and future food trends shape innovation. You understand that strong brands are built by anticipating what's next in taste, nutrition and functionality, and by translating insight into meaningful consumer experiences.
