Your Impact on our Mission Zocdoc’s most important asset is our people. As a Senior Manager of Business Development, you’ll be responsible for creating, managing, and growing strategic partnerships critical to Zocdoc’s growth. This role will initiate and negotiate new partnerships, grow and develop ongoing partner relationships, and manage partner performance with an initial focus on strategic distribution partnerships. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of successfully managing partnerships with large companies, driving measurable growth through external relationships, and thinking strategically about complex business issues. This person should be comfortable owning both new business development and existing partner performance, including identifying opportunities to improve results, expand relationships, and create mutual value for Zocdoc and our partners. This role will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional partnerships in collaboration with various teams across the organization, including product, engineering, marketing, operations, finance, legal, analytics, sales, and leadership. This role will report to the Sr. Director of Business Development. You’ll enjoy this role if you are... • Personally motivated by owning a project or relationship from start to finish. You enjoy understanding what is driving performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and translating insights into action • A strong relationship builder and negotiator. You enjoy finding financially and commercially beneficial terms for new and existing partner agreements • Excited about shaping Zocdoc’s strategic direction by identifying innovative opportunities and aligning partnerships with long-term business goals • Energized by a mix of new business development, partner management, performance optimization, and cross-functional execution Your day to day is... Partner Ownership & Relationship Management • Serving as the primary business owner and “go-to” contact for a portfolio of strategic distribution partners, including performance, partner communications, issue resolution, and ongoing engagement • Defining and executing on the long-term partner relationship strategy, including knowing which partnerships or opportunities to grow, optimize, or deprioritize • Leading recurring partner conversations, business reviews, and strategic check-ins to assess performance, align on goals, and identify areas for improvement Performance Management & Growth • Monitoring partner
