What we're looking for • 8-10 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Database Administrator supporting production environments, preferably with 19c. • Strong understanding of Oracle architecture, performance tuning, and backup/recovery processes using RMAN. • Practical experience in Oracle PL/SQL development and support for mission-critical applications. • Proficient in Linux-based systems (e.g., RHEL) and automation through scripting languages such as Bash or Python. • Exposure to tools such as Terraform and Ansible, with a keen interest in cloud-based solutions, especially AWS. • Willingness to work primarily in US Eastern time hours and cover after-hours and weekend support on a rotational basis. • Experience with PostgreSQL administration in hybrid or cloud environments is a strong plus. • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues independently. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with cross-functional, geographically distributed teams. • Comfortable participating in on-call rotations and providing off-hours support when required.
