You lead major architectural evolutions, coach engineers in XP principles, and help teams make sound technical decisions that scale across the organization. What You’ll Do • Lead by doing: Contribute to core systems while modeling high standards in code quality, testing, and design. • Guide architectural evolution: Drive cross-team initiatives that move our systems toward simplicity, scalability, and testability. • Coach and mentor: Support engineers at all levels through pairing, design reviews, and hands-on coaching in XP practices. • Simplify complexity: Design elegant solutions to deep technical challenges in performance, reliability, and distributed rendering. • Unblock and empower: Spot risks early, resolve systemic bottlenecks, and establish good defaults that let teams move quickly and confidently. • Champion sustainable quality: Promote practices like TDD, pair programming, and continuous delivery to keep development fast without sacrificing stability. • Align strategy and execution: Partner with product and leadership to balance short-term delivery with long-term technical health.
