US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Universities and non-profit research employers are cap-exempt. The $100,000 fee for new petitions from abroad is currently blocked by a court order (appeal pending).

ANALYTICS
What We Do
Our Data & Analytics teams build powerful stories and visuals that inform the games we make, the technology we develop, and business decisions that drive Epic.
What You'll Do
We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist, Transparency and Regulatory, to join the Analytics team, where you will own the data and drive data tooling behind transparency reports Epic publishes under regulations such as the DSA, and support risk assessments, audits, compliance assessments, and other compliance reporting. You'll work with Legal, Compliance, Trust and Safety, and data engineering to turn regulatory requirements into clear metric definitions, bring in the figures other teams hold, and check every number before it is published.
In this role, you will
• Own the data for transparency reports, risk assessments, and other compliance reporting across our products like Fortnite, the Epic Games Store, and Fab; from data requests to published figures
• Work with Legal, Compliance, Engineering, and Trust and Safety policy teams to turn regulatory text into productionalized metric definitions
• Map Epic's internal moderation data to regulatory categories, and work with product and engineering teams so new features capture what a regulatory report may need before launch
• Partner with Data Engineering to drive the templates and validation tooling that other teams use to submit their data
• Review the reporting pipeline's data quality checks every month, and work with Data Engineering to fix drift and defects, and add new moderation flows
• Drive reporting methodology in partnership with leadership across the company
What we're looking for
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or in a related field, including 2+ years with Trust and Safety, integrity, risk, compliance, or regulatory reporting data
• Expertise with SQL, Python, and big data technologies such as Spark or Databricks
• Experience turning legal, policy, or regulatory language into precise metric definitions, documented well enough for someone else to audit
• Hands-on work on transparency reports or similar regulatory reporting (DSA, COPPA, audits, etc), delivering a recurring, deadline-bound report that depends on data from other teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience writing data specifications for engineers and presenting to Legal, Compliance, and senior leadership
• Experience with content moderation or child safety data, such as notices, appeals, statements of reasons, or age assurance
• Experience supporting an internal audit, a controls review, or a regulator's request for information
• Experience with data visualization, code version control (GitHub or similar), and orchestration (Airflow or similar)
• Experience using Al in daily data work and building Al tools or agents for documentation, reconciliation, or review work
• Passion for the gaming industry
This role is open to multiple locations across the US (including CA, NYC, & WA).
