Procurement Agent (Hybrid Working) Company: Boeing Defence United Kingdom Limited Job Description Boeing is seeking an expert Procurement Professional with procurement life-cycle experience to join the team as a Procurement Agent ( in Bristol ) who will be able to: • Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions for products and services. • Engage stakeholders to ensure that program, customer, product and in-service strategies are integrated into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies. • Prepare and execute proprietary information agreements • Prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements. • Optimise execution of the supply chain balancing inventory, supply orders and schedule demand. • Perform continuous review and analysis of demand and supply. • Manage supplier/subcontractor performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and in-service performance. • Mitigate risks and issues. • Initiate supplier improvement activities and provide results for integration into contracting strategies. • Communicate performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.   Basic qualifications/requirements: • Experience supporting contract terms and conditions development, negotiations and raising contracts • Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) • Experience supporting cross-functional teams • Excellent communication skills and customer focus are critical to be successful in this role. • Ability to obtain a UK security Clearance for which the UK Government requires UK residency. Preferred qualifications( nice to have) • MCIPS • Experience working within a Procurement or Supply Chain role within the Aerospace/Defence industry • Experience working within an Engineering/Production environment • Experience of using SAP Important information regarding this requisition: This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK.
