The Role
We're looking for someone who loves being organised, enjoys working with people and gets real satisfaction from making things happen behind the scenes.
This is a varied role where you'll support our People and Talent Management activities, from welcoming new starters and supporting career development to keeping our systems and processes running smoothly.
You'll work closely with colleagues across the business, helping to keep things on track, find better ways of doing things and make a real difference to the employee experience.
We're a growing business, so we're looking for someone who's happy to get stuck in, takes pride in the little details and genuinely enjoys being part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
You'll be involved in lots of different activities across our People, Talent Management and wider business teams. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
• Supporting our people: Helping coordinate onboarding, inductions, probation reviews and employee development activities, making sure everyone has a positive experience.
• Keeping things on track: Organising performance reviews, development conversations, engagement surveys and other people initiatives, ensuring nothing gets missed.
• Helping us stay connected: Supporting internal communications, employee updates and activities that bring our people together.
• Being the go-to organiser: Keeping our systems, records and processes up to date, coordinating meetings, tracking actions and helping colleagues find the information they need.
• Making things better: Spotting opportunities to simplify processes, reduce duplication and find more efficient ways of working.
• Supporting the wider business: Getting involved in business support activities, projects and day-to-day administration wherever an extra pair of hands can make a difference.
What We're Looking For
Essential
• Experience in a People, HR, Talent Management, learning and development, employee experience or business-support administration or coordination role.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage recurring activities, maintain accurate records and follow up actions against agreed deadlines.
• Confidence communicating with employees, line managers and colleagues across different business functions.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft practical employee communications, guidance and reminders.
• Good digital skills and confidence using business systems, trackers and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle employee information with discretion and sound judgement.
• A proactive and reliable approach, with the confidence to raise gaps, delays or unclear ownership with the appropriate person.
• An interest in improving routine processes and making information easier for others to understand and use.
• The ability to balance planned People activity with defined support for wider business priorities.
