About the role
Make sure every restaurant on SOUS grows its revenue, across Uber Eats, Just Eat Takeaway and its own direct ordering channel.
Full-time
About SOUS
SOUS exists to give independent restaurants the same acquisition-to-retention infrastructure that only chains and delivery platforms could previously afford. We build it as one connected data layer, replacing the fragmented stack most restaurants run today: a listings tool here, a separate storefront there, and no CRM at all.
Spotlight owns discovery, as search shifts from Google links to AI assistants recommending where to eat. Commerce owns the transaction and, critically, the guest relationship that marketplaces have been extracting for a decade. Every order through that owned channel generates data that sharpens the next cycle of visibility, personalisation and retention, compounding in the restaurant's favour instead of the platform's.
Our long-term bet is simple. As AI becomes the default interface for "where should I eat", the restaurants that own their guest data and their presence in that layer will keep the margin, and the ones still renting both from marketplaces will not. We are building the infrastructure to make the first outcome the default, not the exception.
We are a team of 27, working from our headquarters on the Vijzelstraat in Amsterdam city centre, and we are growing fast across the Netherlands, Germany and South Africa.
About the role
Our promise to restaurants is simple: SOUS helps you grow. That means more visibility in AI search, more direct orders without commission, and a stronger performance on the delivery platforms restaurants already use. As our merchant base grows quickly, we want every single restaurant to see that growth in its numbers.
As Merchant Growth Specialist you make that promise real. You dive into each merchant's online performance, find the biggest opportunities and help them capture them. What you learn flows straight back into our product and playbooks.
Your team
You are part of the Growth team and work closely with the Growth Lead and our product team. You work hand in hand with Merchant Success, who own the day-to-day relationship with our merchants.

• Drive measurable revenue growth for our merchants
• Optimise merchant revenue on Uber Eats and Just Eat Takeaway
• Grow the share of direct orders through SOUS Commerce and visibility through Spotlight
• Turn what works into repeatable growth playbooks and product input
Key responsibilities

• Run growth experiments and campaigns for merchant groups
• Share insights with the product team to shape new features
• Work with Merchant Success to turn results into long-term customer relationships and success stories
Requirements
• 3 to 4 years of experience in growth, account management, marketplace operations or e-commerce
• A strong, hands-on understanding of food delivery platforms such as Uber Eats and Just Eat Takeaway: how their algorithms, promotions, fees and rankings work
• Analytical and comfortable with data, spreadsheets and dashboards
• A good understanding of how restaurants work and what drives their revenue
• Fluent in Dutch and English
Benefits
• Salary of €50,000 to €70,000 gross per year, depending on experience
• 25 holiday days plus Dutch public holidays, and 8% holiday allowance
