Ce que l'on recherche avant tout, ce sont des personnes créatives et engagées !Parce que nous sommes persuadés que chaque talent compte, nous valorisons et encourageons les candidatures de personnes en situation de handicap pour nos opportunités d'emploi.Descriptif missionReporting to the Assembly Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects involved with managing the Assembly Department.o Responsible to produce a quality product on time and at cost.o Improve efficiencies and maintain continuous improvement initiatives -reduce overall assembly costs by driving Standardized Work and improving Assembly Line concepts.o Improve cost of quality by reducing NCR's, Scrap, Rework and Quality Escapes (internal and external)o Develop teamwork and improve motivation overseeing both Assembly and Assembly Support Staff (Assy Planning and Stores) personnel.o Utilize and maintain daily SQCDP Team Meetings.o Ensure all personnel receive appropriate and effective trainingo Participate in the development of and adherence to budgets - operating costs, capital etc.o Schedule and forecast work (in conjunction with the Assembly Program Planner) through the department ensuring sufficient capacity in equipment and personnelo Liaise with internal customers/suppliers i.e. shared services: Finance, Human Resources, and Quality etc.o Maintain compliance to Company Rules, Procedures and Collective Agreement and Employment Standards Act.o Co-ordination of Assembly and Test activities with PPM's.o Ensuring a high standard of Shop Organization, FOD Control, Housekeeping / 5S and Safetyo Resolution of technical issues in conjunction with Quality and Engineering
