About the role
Communications & Programmes Interns
This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with a requirement that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.
Who We Are:
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is the global edge-to-cloud company advancing the way people live and work. We help companies connect, protect, analyze, and act on their data and applications wherever they live, from edge to cloud, so they can turn insights into outcomes at the speed required to thrive in today’s complex world. Our culture thrives on finding new and better ways to accelerate what’s next. We know varied backgrounds are valued and succeed here. We have the flexibility to manage our work and personal needs. We make bold moves, together, and are a force for good. If you are looking to stretch and grow your career our culture will embrace you. Open up opportunities with HPE.
Job Description:
You might not know HPE yet. But you’ve probably experienced the impact of our technology.
Ever streamed a film, followed a Formula 1 race, visited a major sporting event or wondered how AI is changing the world? Behind many of these experiences is technology that connects people, processes huge amounts of data and helps organisations do extraordinary things.
At Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), we help power the technology behind the scenes. From the supercomputers helping scientists tackle some of the world’s biggest challenges, to the networks connecting stadiums, businesses and communities, our technology is helping shape the future.
But technology is only part of our story.
Big technology. Bigger opportunities to make a difference.
At HPE, we believe a great workplace is built by its people. Across the UKIMEA, our team members are creating communities, championing inclusion, supporting wellbeing and making a real difference beyond their day jobs.
Our culture isn’t just something we talk about. It’s something our people actively build.
Through our Resource Groups and Site Councils, colleagues lead initiatives that bring people together, celebrate different backgrounds and help everyone feel they belong. Our Day of Service has brought thousands of volunteering hours to charities and local communities, while our commitment to inclusion, wellbeing and development has earned recognition at the CRN Women & Diversity in Channel Awards, including the Health and Wellbeing Recognition Award and Highly Commended Best Place to Work. And you don’t need to be a senior leader to make an impact. Some of our most exciting ideas come from people just starting their careers.
Your placement. Your opportunity to make an impact.
We’re looking for a curious, creative and motivated Programmes Intern to join our UKIMEA (UK, Ireland, Middle East and Africa) Managing Director’s Office in London for a 13-month placement.
This isn’t a role where you’ll spend a year watching from the sidelines.
You’ll work alongside a team that helps shape how we communicate, engage our people and connect with some of the world’s leading organisations. One day you might be helping bring a leadership event to life, the next creating communications that reach colleagues across different countries, supporting an initiative that makes a difference in our communities, or helping develop programmes that connect our senior executives with customers.
You’ll gain exposure to different parts of the business, work with experienced leaders and have the opportunity to bring your own ideas to the table.
We don’t expect you to know everything when you arrive. What matters is your curiosity, willingness to learn and enthusiasm to get involved.
If you’re looking for a placement where you can develop your skills, build meaningful relationships and finish the year knowing you’ve made a real contribution, we’d
