Job Description: This role provides critical financial support to SIBG COGS management and plays an important part in ensuring cost visibility, business decision support, and financial control across the ESC and business teams. The key responsibilities include: Partnering with China BSC team and Plants on cost analysis, cost control, and performance tracking (SIBG footprint covers 5 plants of total 6, ~60% of total China plants TOVS) Analyzing and tracking ICO imported SFG/FG transfer costs and related margin change Working closely with the business finance team to assess the standard margin impact from selling price, product mix. Analyzing and forecasting major COGS drivers to support SIBG weekly/monthly/yearly planning Providing financial support for major SIBG investment projects and cost mitigation projects in China Monitor 3PM cost for SIBG (SIBG occupies almost 40% of China Base business 3PM operations) Providing strong support to global SIBG ESC finance for performance tracking, forecasting and annual budgeting Given the complexity and large scale of these responsibilities, this role requires strong business understanding, financial analytical capability, cross-functional collaboration, and knowledge of 3M internal processes, especially how to navigate through China legacy system environment and link the cost information to global standard COGS reporting.  Learn more about 3M’s creative solutions to the world’s problems at www.3M.com or on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn @3M.
