This role requires independence, accountability, and the ability to drive initiatives that impact the entire organization.
Core Responsibilities
• Technical Leadership: Collaborate on long-term DevOps roadmaps and contribute to defining architectural direction across the organization, acting as a subject matter expert (SME) and technical leader.
• Infrastructure: Design and manage scalable, multi-cloud or hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) using advanced Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• CI/CD: Own and optimize build, release, and continuous integration pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions for large-scale, complex, and concurrent product deployments.
• Reliability & Observability: Implement advanced monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) to ensure high availability and proactive incident resolution.
• Project Ownership: Independently lead DevOps projects - from planning through execution to delivery - leveraging a Scrum team composed of engineers with varying levels of experience.
