As SumUp scales, our work has become highly analytical and data-driven. We combine deep accounting knowledge with SQL, AI-assisted reconciliation tools and advanced data analytics to understand not just what was recorded, but why and how our business operates financially.

• Map the accounting flow for new products and ensure correct treatment before launch.
• Lead the audit and year-end close readiness, with timely responses to auditors.
• Communicate complex accounting issues clearly to non-finance stakeholders and escalate facts and impact when needed.
