About the role
Realize your potential by joining the leading performance-driven advertising company and a proud Great Place to Work® Certified employer in Israel.
As a Bid Ops Optimization Engineer on the Optimization team in our Tel Aviv Office, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our Header Bidding publishers healthy and growing. You’ll take escalated cases from Account Managers and monitoring alerts, find what is holding a publisher back, fix it, and show what the fix is worth. You’ll proactively find areas of improvement based on investigation of health KPIs. You’ll work with Product, R&D and Algorithms to improve both individual publishers and the bidder as a whole. This is a temporary replacement for a maternity leave position that may expand into a full time role.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
• 4+ years in ad-tech, programmatic, publisher operations, solutions engineering or another technical, customer-facing role
• Strong SQL: you can go from a metric movement to a root cause and check your own query for double counting
• Experience debugging on live publisher pages with browser DevTools: inspecting the DOM, tracing bid requests and responses in the Network tab, checking console errors and timing
• Experience working with HTML, CSS and JS, able to read a publisher's page source, find where an ad unit or widget is rendered, and style or adjust a widget
• The ability to explain technical findings and their business value to Account Managers and publishers, with the business impact first
• Excellent written and spoken English
Bonus points if you have:
• Hands-on knowledge of Header Bidding / Prebid and RTB, including bid requests and responses, floors, ad sizes, timeouts and SSP behavior.
• Experience reading Prebid.js configurations or wrapper code to understand how a page calls our bidder
• Experience building dashboards or internal tools for non-technical users, or running training programs
• Experience with AI-assisted workflows or building agents
How you’ll make an impact:
• Investigate and resolve escalated Header Bidding cases end to end: diagnose with data, fix the configuration and quantify the uplift
• Look for patterns that affect many publishers, such as shared presets, ad sizes, blocking rules and floors, instead of only reacting to cases
• Be the technical voice for Account Managers and, when needed, publishers: explain what happened, what we changed and what it is worth
• Present findings and recommendations to business stakeholders, and help Sales frame technical optimization as a commercial story
• Join client pitch calls as a technical expert, helping clients understand what is needed to work with us
• Use SQL (Vertica), Salesforce, Grafana, Tableau and AI tools to speed up analysis and documentation
